Sylvie Mathieu 2

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Graduated from the Cégep de Chicoutimi in 2002, Sylvie is a dynamic physiotherapy technician. Her many years of experience in orthopaedic injuries brought her to specialise in shoulders cases, such as tendon, muscle and ligament tears, capsulitis (frozen shoulder), bursitis, tendinitis, muscle imbalances, and calcifications. Sylvie also specialises in back problems, for instance sciatica, sprains spondylolisthesis, herniated discs, arthritis, and postural problems (i.e. scoliosis).

Wanting to extend her knowledge further, Sylvie decide to start studying osteopathy in  2012, studies that lasted 6 years. She wanted to be able to treat people with a more global view on the human body and its different systems and osteopathy was perfect for that end. Finally graduated with honors in 2018, she is fully dedicated to her patients with all her new knowledge.  Always caring for her patients, Sylvie will always take the extra time to treat you the way she would want her family treated.
